World Book Day & Reading Café

To celebrate World Book Day children were invited to come into school dressed as their favourite book character.  We were delighted to see so many wonderful costumes.  Prizes were awarded to the best costumes with an emphasis on home-made ideas.

The winners were: Dylan, Stanley, Sidney, Noah, Daisy, Inay and Atsaraa.

A big thank you to Miss Chantry, Miss Denyer and all the parents who have joined our Reading Cafe's to celebrate World Book Day! The children enjoyed reading to parents and friends during this time. Teachers are in the habit of reading class novels to children and it is amazing how hushed the classes become as the children listen attentively.
